Say So

There was a young girl
Who felt that the world
Was calmly letting her go.

That same would thought she
Was too busy to be
A part of the world’s little show.

She left like a balloon
But soon was a moon
As their space continued to grow.

As galaxies passed
Still neither one asked,
Did either leave anything owed?

Once all things went by
They continued to fly
Out beyond where nothingness blows.

When they hit the end
Both saw an old friend,
Each lit by the other one’s glow.

They both felt delight
At the other one’s sight,
But one of them better say so.
